The Edo State Government has recently announced the recruitment of over 11,000 health workers. This is in line with the government’s plan to transform the healthcare sector.
The Health Minister, Sylvia Masebo says the exercise will be decentralised to district level. She says it is not about the recruitment of one category but will include all categories in the sector, including drivers, mortuary attendants and dentists.
